Sharon Marie Seigfried

Sharon Marie Seigfried, 75 of Marion, died Tuesday April 19, 2022 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital.  She was born August 9, 1946 in Marion to the late Willard and Louise (Wise) Cox, she was also preceded in death
her husband David Lee Seigfried, they were married in 1991 and he died in 2012. She was also predeceased by siblings: James W. Cox and Kimberly S. Cox-Hansen.

Sharon had worked as a corrections officer at the Marion Correctional Institute (MCI) for 16 years. She was also a member of the LaRue Baptist Church.

Surviving is her son: John J. Johnson of Marion, Stepdaughters: Lynn (Kevin) Schultz of Marion, Vicki (Paul) VanDoren of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Debra (Tom) Rowland of Dayton and their families. Nephew: Joseph Hansen of Marion.

There will be no services at this time.
