Melva "Jean" (Aldridge) Massey

MARION: Melva "Jean" was born November 26, 1939 on Toledo Ave. in Marion, Ohio. She was a lifetime resident of Marion and she passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016, at 10:30 AM

Preceeding her in death was her only son; Steven C. Hall of Marion, OH. her parents; Tony A. & Ethel Garnet (Hood) Aldridge of Marion, OH., one brother; Kenneth Aldridge of Marion, OH., and her sister; Phyllis Thompson of Galion, OH. Jean is survived by her two daughters; Lisa Jo Massey of Brooksville, Florida and Karen J. Prise of Marion, OH., and one grandson; Samuel Massey of Brooksville, Florida.

Jean graduated from Harding High School in 1958. She was employed at Tecumseh Products for eight years. Jean was a corrections officier at both Marion Correctional Institute and North Central Correctional Facility for 17 years before retiring in 2004.
