Michael Hundley

Please join us in celebrating the life of Michael E. Hundley, I. Michael was born on April 16, 1965 and passed away unexpectedly January 2, 2016.

He was born in East Meadows, NY to the late Stratton and Beatrice (Renfroe) Hundley. He lived in New York until deciding to join the USArmy after graduating high school. Michael proudly served our country for 8 years during the Persian Gulf War. After leaving the military, Michael and his family moved from Georgia to Delaware, Ohio in 1999. Michael worked in corrections, moving up in rank over 16 years.  He was currently employed as the Investigator/STG Coordinator for Marion Correctional Institute and loved his job as well as the people he worked with.

To his family, Michael can be described as knowledgeable, classic, intellectual, and will always be remembered for his strong work ethic. He loved to surround himself with family and was most comfortable watching the NY Giants and FSU football games in his sweats, while bragging about their accomplishments to anyone who would listen. Michael will also be known for his strong love of family. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara (Scott) Hundley; and four children, Christopher Hundley of Atlanta, GA, Brianna Hundley (Karl Cotter), Britany Hundley, and Michael Hundley II of Delaware, OH, to cherish his memory. He also leaves his four year old granddaughter, Kariya Cotter, who will be in charge of telling her younger sister, who's to be expected March 2016, about their 'Papa Mike' and how amazing he was.

Friends and family are invited to visitation at SNYDER-RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER located at 1510 W. William Street, Delaware, OH from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016.
