MARION: There will be no service for Judy Ann Johnson at her request.
She died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Kobacker House Hospice, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born in Seneca County, Ohio January 7, 1940 to Ralph and Claria (Via) Looman and they preceded her in death. She was a 1958 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. Judy married Harry Lyle Johnson November 1, 1961 and he survives in Caledonia.
Also surviving are her two daughters, Leona (Mark) Hughes, Lynn (Tim) Collins; and son, William Johnson; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Miller, Thomas Shifflet, Lyle Collins, Kassandra Johnson, Kaitlin Johnson, Austin Johnson, Ian Hughes, Kalie Hughes, and Megan Collins; two great grandchildren, Jacie and Tristyn Miller; one sister Jane Courtad. Her sister Mary Saxion preceded her in death.
Judy was a devoted military wife for 20 years; she was also a retired state employee. She was the center of family with a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed playing cards and shopping, among other things.
