MARION: Cathy E. Hamilton, 58, Marion, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on February 16, 1951 in Staten Island, NY, to Patrick and Eleanor (Culberson) Sullivan.

Cathy loved to be around her family, friends and was loved by many.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Alan Hamilton; sons, Bill (Beth) Collier, and Joseph (Kim) Collier; step children, Amy Knecht and Wesley Hamilton; grandchildren, Brady, Cortney, Trey, Carlene, Alaina, Catherine, Lauren and Brian; a sister, Lynn (Steve) Hamilton.

Preceding Cathy in death was her first husband, Bill Collier; and a brother, Patrick Sullivan.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with parish prayers at 4:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church with Fr. Michael Nimocks celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Heartland Hospice, 685 Delaware Ave. Marion Ohio, 43302.
