MARION: Cathy E. Hamilton, 58, Marion, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on February 16, 1951 in Staten Island, NY, to Patrick and Eleanor (Culberson) Sullivan.

Cathy loved to be around her family, friends and was loved by many.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Alan Hamilton; sons, Bill (Beth) Collier, and Joseph (Kim) Collier; step children, Amy Knecht and Wesley Hamilton; grandchildren, Brady, Cortney, Trey, Carlene, Alaina, Catherine, Lauren and Brian; a sister, Lynn (Steve) Hamilton.

Preceding Cathy in death was her first husband, Bill Collier; and a brother, Patrick Sullivan.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with parish prayers at 4:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church with Fr. Michael Nimocks celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Heartland Hospice, 685 Delaware Ave. Marion Ohio, 43302. LARUE: Jerry W. Bowles, age 74, of LaRue, Ohio area, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009 after a six month courageous battle with cancer.

He was born July 24, 1935 in Marion, Ohio to the late Jerome L. and Georgie A. (Burnside) Bowles.

On May 6, 1978 he married Linda L. (Medley) Bowles, she survives in Larue area.

Jerry was a member of the Church of God International of Worthington, Ohio and the Hicks and Chicks Square Dancing Club. Jerry was a former Ohio State Trooper, and was employed over the years at Tecumseh, Whirlpool Corp., M.C.I. and N.C.C.I. as a corection officer until his retirement in 2000.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda Bowles of Larue; his nine children, Scott (Brenda) Bowles of Corpus Christi, TX, Jay (Sandy) Bowles of Lewistown, OH, Chuck (Kay) Jones of Marion, OH, David (Oakley) Jones of Marion, OH, Julie (Candy) Bowles of Toledo, OH, Joy Preston of Larue, OH, Shelley (Don) Fyffe of Marion, OH, Christy Powers of Larue, OH, Becky Clark of Larue, OH; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Carol) Bowles of Houston, TX; a sister, Kathy Sansome of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jerry will be Friday, October 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Sanders officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
