ASHLEY: James Robert Price, age 69, of Ashley, Ohio died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 7:21 p.m. at Marion General Hospital.

He was born January 2, 1940 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Conrad and Irene (Griffith) Price. On November 6, 1966 he married Donna M. Fassler and she survives.

Other survivors, daughter, Melissa (Tony) Heddleson of Cumberland, Ohio; grandchildren Jessica Heddleson, Robert (Beth) Heddleson; great grandchild, Brooklyn Heddleson; nieces, Sarah Walker and Stacey Price; and sister-in-law, Maxine.

He was preceded in death by grandson, James Earl White; sister, Katherine L. Jackson; and brothers, David L. Price and Donald L. Price.

Mr. Price was a truck driver working for McFarlands Trucking and Henderson Trucking. He also worked as a correctional officer at M C I, a fork lift operator at SunRay, a Policeman in Ashley. Member of the Westfield Community Church. He has been an active Christian since 1982.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Westfield Community Church. Ministers will be the Rev. Doc. Lucian Baker and the Rev. Conrad Dwight Cimino. The family will receive friends at the church 2 hours before service time on Saturday. The Stofcheck-Ballinger funeral home in LaRue is in charge of arrangements.
