Michael Eric Hildabridle


Michael Eric Hildabridle, age 78 of Larue, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Michael was born November 30, 1945 in South Bend, IN, the son of Claude P. and Lorraine (Coleman) Hildabridle.

On November 3, 1973 Michael was united in marriage to Veronica Carey.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving 2 tours in Vietnam and retired from the military after 20 years of service. He then went to work for the Marion Correctional Institution serving as the Identification Officer and retired from there with 18 years of service.

Michael was a hard worker and a devoted family man. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed time spent with friends. He had a keen sense for photography and enjoyed capturing moments with his camera.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Veronica Hildabridle; children: Michael Eric (Pam) Hildabridle, Jr., Steven David (Alison) Hildabridle, and Virginia Michelle (Jason) Tanner; grandchildren: Erica Hildabridle, Dylan and Mitchell Stottlemyer, Tatum Raber, Roin and Ahlara Hildabridle, Triston, William, Aiden, and Faelynn Tanner; great-grandson: Greyson.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angela K. Miller-Stottlemyer; and brothers: Aaron and Allen Hildabridle.

Services will be held privately for the family.

John M. Mclain, 67, of Marion, Ohio passed away on August 9, 2024. 

John was born July 30, 1957, to parents Edwin Mclain and Wanda Clark in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. John graduated from Mt. Gilead High School in 1973. He married Charlotte Mclain on July 30, 1994. They have been married for 30 years. They loved each other dearly. 

John was in the Navy for 8 years. He also worked for MCI for 25 years. John loved to hunt and watch movies. He loved watching football; Ohio State was his team. He also loved watching the Columbus Blue Jackets and just sitting around with family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by both parents Edwin Mclain and Wanda Clark, his grandparents Fanny Mclain and her husband, his brother Keith Mclain, and his great granddaughter Everly Brady. 

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Mclain, his children Mark Mclain, Maria Mclain, Marvin Mclain, and Michael Mclain, his step children Sorina Greer, Scott Greer, and David Greer, his brother Dave Clark, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
