Paul A. Love, age 79 of Marion, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Marion General Hospital. On September 1, 1944, he was born in Athens, Ohio, to the late Andrew C. and Helen E. (Mace) Love, and on December 12, 1966, he married the love of his life, Sandy K. (Wills).
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and he worked as a corrections supervisor for the Marion Correctional Institute for 23 years until his retirement in 2000. He loved his family above all else.
He is survived by his wife Sandy Love; his son Andy Love; his daughters Helen (Mark) Caldwell and Linda Walsh; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Helen Love and his grandson Dalton Fridley.
