Ronnie A. Garnow age 60 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1962 in Marion, Ohio to Laurence M. and Wilma J. (Collins) Garnow.
Ronnie graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1980 and shortly after enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at M.C.I. as a guard for 23 years. He loved to work and was a very hard worker, he would always work overtime and sometimes two jobs to ensure his kids were cared for. He loved his Mt. Dew, scratch off lottery tickets.
He is survived by his mother, Wilma Garnow of Marion, his children, Whitney (Michael) Roberts of Marion, Christopher (Samantha) Garnow of Grasonville, Maryland, Ryan Garnow of Marion, Alex Kitzmiller of Marion, 10 grandchildren, brothers, Randy (Rio) Garnow of Marion, Mike Garnow of Marion, Dean (Tina) Garnow of Marion, his sisters, Lisa (Joseph) Sifritt of Marion, Tracy Goodwin of Marion, his long-time partner, Lisa Patterson of Marion and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Laurence Garnow.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Snyder Funeral Home, Denzer Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Wesley Craker officiating, with the Marion County Veterans Council holding military honors. Burial will be held at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
