It is with sadness that we report that Charlie passed away on June 6, 2022, in Lakeland, Florida.
Charlie
had been in poor health for some time, and moved to Florida to live
with family. We first heard of Charlie's passing from Rick Davis,
and confirmed it through Larry Scheff. Larry had been called by
Charlie's son, Chuck, shortly after Charlie passed away.
Charlie had reportedly arranged to be cremated. We don't know if there was a service in Florida, but Chuck stated to Larry that one was being considered for Marion, as most of the people Charlie knew were here. A preliminary check did not locate a printed obituary.
