Sandusky: Steven I. Rosenthal, age 74, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio,
passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 2:42am at his home in
Upper Sandusky.
Steve was born on October 7, 1943 in Chelsea, Massachusetts to Elliott and Dorothy (Weinberg) Rosenthal, both of whom are deceased. He married Melanie E. Emptage on June 4, 1979 in Marseilles, Ohio, and she survives.
He is also survived by 4 children: Jennifer (Jeffrey) Davis of Marseilles, Daniel (Colleene) Clark of Lyman, South Carolina, Adrian Reynolds, and Marissa Grant-Morris. 5 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, and 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Watts of Savannah, Georgia, along with 3 nephews, Wayne, Rick and Donald Watts.
Steve was member of the Temple Israel in Marion, Ohio, where he taught religious ethics, and also served as the Jewish Chaplain at the Marion Correctional Facility.
Graveside services for Steven I. Rosenthal will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Grand Prairie Cemetery, Brush Ridge, with Rabbi Natalie Shribman.
