MARION: Richard Dean "Dick" Jenner, age 83, of Marion died Tuesday March 24, 2015 at Heartland of Marion. Dick was born June 4, 1931 in Marion, OH to the late William David and Mary Margaret (Thieken) Jenner.

Dick served his county in the Navy during the Korean War and later retired from the US Post Office as a carrier and clerk and worked for MCI as a corrections officer. Dick was married to the late Martha Louck.

Dick is survived by his sons, Dean Jenner of Columbus, Jay Jenner of Denver, CO and Gary Jenner of Marion; grandchildren, Sarah Askari, Grace and David Jenner; and great-grandchildren, Kyle and Melody Askari.

He was predeceased by eight siblings and special friends, Maxine Bell and Betty Rhinehart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon Friday, March 27, 2015 at St. Mary Church with calling one hour prior. Father Thomas Buffer will preside and burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Marion County United Veterans Council will conduct graveside services.

Barbara A. Jackson

Barbara A. Jackson, age 68, of Edison passed away Saturday afternoon, March 7, 2015 at Morrow County Hospital.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 9, 1947 to Vernell Ivy Sr. and Vashti (Cartwright) Ivy-Ware who both preceded her in death.

Upon moving to Marion with her husband; Harold Jackson Sr., she worked at Marion Correctional Facility until her retirement.

Barbara was very active and loved life…serving as the Matriarch of her family and offering help to all those in need.

Surviving are her husband; Harold Jackson Sr., her daughters; Karen Funderburk, Victoria Jackson and Charla (Eric) Rives, her sons; Charlie Funderburk Jr., Harold Jackson Jr., Carlton Jackson and Anthony Jackson, her sisters; Alice Mulkey, Gloria Chestnut, Vanessa Ivy, and Veronica (Hollie) Montgomery, her brothers; Charles (Joycie) Grandberry, June (Deborah) Grandberry, Vernell Ivy Jr., Vernon (Tetra) Ivy and Chris (Tara) Grandberry, 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 uncle, 2 aunts and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Homecoming will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 3:30 PM at Christ Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Cor-Re-Don Rogers officiating. Friends may call from 2:30 PM until the time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted by her family to the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home.

Clyde E. White




MARION: Clyde E. White, age 81, passed away at his home on
March 3, 2015.

He was born on
July 8, 1933 in Waterloo, Ohio to the late Labe and Virgie Belle (Miller) White. He was married to Jeanette Stevens who preceded him in death in 2005. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Celces White and four sisters, Mary Coffman, Thelma Coffman, Ruby Burd and Bessie Brammer.

Clyde was a U.S. Army veteran and had been employed at both Tecumseh Products and Marion Correctional Institution.

He is survived by his children, Charles White, Debbie (Darrel) Kisner and Mark (Tammy) White, all of Marion and Nancy (Bill) Abrams of Columbus; seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Buelah Lacy and Joann Turvey, both of
Ironton, Ohio and Ruth Malone of Kentucky.

In keeping with
Clyde's wishes, no visiting hours or services will be held.
