EDISON: Keith A. Brammer, age 64, of Edison, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at his residence.

He was born november 17, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to Marion and Lavada (Morrow) Brammer. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives and lives in Marion. On July 18, 1964 in Marion, Keith married Gloria J. (Jones) and she survives. Keith was retired from the Marion Correctional Institution after 18 years in maintainence. He attended Dayspring Wesleyan Church, was a member of the Masons, the Moose and Eagles Lodges at Indian Lake, American Legion Post #162, and the V.F.W. in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Keith also loved motorcycles, fishing, animals, and loved his friends and was loved by his many friends.

Other survivers are two daughters, Shelly (Mike) Cooley and Kellie Jo (Jim) bell both of Marion, Ohio; six grandchildren, Derick Street, Eric Bell, Amanda Street, Matthew Bell, Dylan Bell and Shayla Cooley; also surviving is a brother and two sisters, Max (May) Brammer, Shelia (Jeff) Holiday and Marilyn Cull all of Marion, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be Friday October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dayspring Wesleyan Church with Rev. David Holdren Officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Heights Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the church from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Wayne I. Moses, 75 of Upper Sandusky formerly of Forest, died Tues. Oct. 12, 2010 at 4:19 p.m. in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

He was born July 1, 1935 in Upper Sandusky to the late John Alvin and Dora (Welker) Moses. He married Cecelia Fink on Sept. 28, 1958 and she preceded him in death on July 27, 1993. He is survived by a son Donald L. Moses, Upper Sandusky, a daughter Zorina (Neil) Swinehart, Forest, 2 grandchildren Mariele Swinehart and Courtney (Steve) Jakopovic, a great grandchild Laci Freshour, 2 sisters Ruth Moses and Mary (Ralph) Barker and a special companion Jane Courtad. He was preceded in death by a brother Roy Moses.

Mr. Moses graduated from
Upper Sandusky High School in 1953. He was a member of Heritage Christian Union Church, Forest.
He retired as a guard from Marion Correctional Institute, Marion. He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed following the Findlay Oilers Football Team and his Tues. morning coffee with the boys.

MARION: Harold Jacob Buhler, age 93, of Marion, Ohio formerly of Deshler, Ohio passed away surrounded by his family at his residence Sunday, September 5, 2010.

He was born May 25, 1917 in Deshler, Ohio to the late Samuel D. and Susie (Williams) Buhler.

On July 31, 1940 he married Eloise E. (Adams) Buhler.

Harold was a member of 7th Day Adventist Church in Marion, Ohio. He was owner and operator of H.J. Buhler Constuction for many years, he started, organized and taught masonary at M.C.I. and Tri-Rivers in Marion.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise Buhler of Marion, OH; four sons, David A. (Joan) Buhler of Orange City, FL, Daniel L. (Carol) Buhler of Harpster, OH, Jonathan J. (Nory) Buhler of Marion, OH, Robert (Darla) Buhler of Marion, OH; two daughters, Carol J. (Robert) Zima of Minneapolis, MN, Beverly J. Denton of Chickamanga, GA; one sister, Susan VanScoyoc of Deshler, OH; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Jim and Herbert Buhler; and two sisters, Herma Bishop and Dorothy Rader.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 2:30 p.m. at Grand Prairie Cemetery with Pastor Richard Baldwin officiating. MARION: Loren G. Delaney, age 77, passed away Friday,

August 6, 2010 at Partners of Marion and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born June 11, 1933 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late David and Anna Mae (Malone) Delaney.

On January 16, 1952 he married Betty M. (Hinton) Delaney.

Loren was a U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, he was employed at Tecumseh Products for many years until it closed, then was a corrections officer at M.C.I. for 13 years until he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Betty M. Delaney of Marion, OH.; a daughter, Penny Delaney of Marion, OH.; a brother, Ron Delaney of Marion, OH.; a sister, Geannie (Marlin) Carter of Defiance, OH.; sister-in-law, Ellen Delaney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Loren will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at 12 p.m. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, with visitation for family and friends from 11 - 12 p.m. the day of the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hardin County, near Mt. Victory, Ohio.

LARUE: James E. Pendleton, age 74, of LaRue, died early Monday morning, June 21, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 8, 1936 in Marion to the late Perd and Edna (Jameson) Pendleton.

On August 30, 1971 he married the former Mary Walker in LaRue and she survives.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked as a crane operator for Marion Power Shovel for 15 years; was a guard for MCI; and worked on the farm for Kate and Ed Schweinfurth. He enjoyed gardening and fishing when he was able and was known for being ornery.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by six sons, John M. Pendleton, Marion, Brian (Edna) Pendleton, LaRue, Carl (Pat) Temple, LaRue, Ernie Temple, Forest, James Temple, Bucyrus, Robert Finch, Marion; five daughters, Cheryl Bise, Nevada, Lisa (Bud) Hall, Morrow, Jennifer Pendleton, Kenton, Darlene (Donnie Jr.) Norris, New Bloomington, Margaret Temple, Michigan; a sister, Mary Fout, Seattle, Washington; son-in-law, Paul Rosebrough, Marion; 33 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Rosebrough; a brother, Perd Pendleton; half-brother, Otto Hessler; two sisters, Harriet Fassler, and Florence Libly; one grandchild; and his former wife, Nelly Wake.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, LaRue with Pastor Doral Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Marion County United Veterans Council. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service from 11 to 1.

MARION: Wendell L. Dangler, age 85, of 784 East Center St., Marion, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at 12:08 p.m. in his home.

He was born in Michigan on July 16, 1924 to the late Leonard and Leona (Milliron) Dangler. Wendell married Helen L. Pingle in Deshler, Ohio on July 17, 1950 and she preceded him in death on May 29, 2003 in Marion. Wendell graduated from Defiance College and later attended the Ohio State University. A veteran of the U.S. Navy in WWII, he was a member of the National Rifle Assoc., American Legion Post 162, a member of the Marion Co. Fish & Game Club, and attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Wendell dedicated his life to teaching. For 27 years he was a teacher with the Elgin school system. He also taught for 11 years at the Marion Correctional Institute and later instructed drivers education through Ault's Driving School over 10 years.

Surviving are two sons, Kirk W. Dangler of New York City, Bruce W. Dangler of Marion; four daughters, Denise Newsome of Marion, Chris (Chuck) Hall of Delaware, OH, Kim (Holley) Baker of Strausburg, OH, and Kim (Craig) Kiefer of Lima, OH; a sister, Lillian Bratton of Danville, OH; six grandchildren, Chanda Newsome, Jason (Lisa) Newsome, Gavin & Nigel Johnston, Kearsi Kiefer, and Brittney Dangler; also three great grandchildren, Dylan Sullivan, Taylor & Avery Newsome; surviving along with his loving family is his special companion, his dog "Amber".

Preceding him in death along with his parents and wife, was a brother, Gerald Dangler; and an infant sister, Wilsene Dangler.

The family will be receiving friends at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday, June 18, 2010, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be conducted by Rev. Riley Powell at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in the Marion Cemetery. Contributions in Wendell's name may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, the N.R.A., or the Marion County Humane Society. Military rites will be given by the Marion Co. Veterans Council.

MARION: Ervin L. Davis, age 77, of Marion, Ohio peacefully went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born August 24, 1932 in Agosta, Ohio to the late John S. Mary Ann (VanOrder) Davis.

On October 10, 1953 Ervin married the love of his life, Mary K. (Haviland), she preceded him in death on June 13, 2008.

Ervin was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, where he was awarded the Bronze Star with valor and the Purple Heart. He was employed at M.C.I. as a supervisor and corrections officer for 25 years before his retirement in 1992. Ervin was envolved with various organizations around Marion, like the American Legion #162 and B.P.O.E. #32 where he was a past exalted ruler.

Ervin is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia M. Davis of Marion, OH., Laura R. (Ray) Brown of El Paso, TX.; two grandchildren, Bryant Brown and Dustin Applegate; a brother, John Davis of Marion, OH.; two sisters, Betty (Tom) Wyckoff of Dublin, OH., Ruth (Gary) Silvers of Marion, OH.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Davis and Walter Davis; and a grandson, Joseph Applegate.

LARUE: Frankie Lee Daily, age 78, of LaRue, passed away at home on May 13, 2010, after a brief illness. On October 10, 1931, Frankie was born in Corydon, Indiana, the son of the late John I. and Goldie (Smith) Daily.

On August 6, 1955, he married the love of his life, Mary Frances (Bohnenstiehl), in the chapel at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Frank was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retiring in 1972 with 24 years of service as a medical technician. He served during the end of the Berlin Air Lift in Germany and later on tours of Japan, Germany, Alaska, Turkey and numerous bases across the United States.

After retiring from the service, he worked at Marion Power Shovel in their medical department and Marion Correctional Institute. He retired from all of his jobs in 1998.

An active member of the community, Frank belonged to many organizations, including: V.F.W. #7201 Marion, Moose Lodge, Marion Council Royal & Select Masons #22, Shriners of North America, Marion Shrine Club, Scottish Rites, Vera Chapter #64 Eastern Star, Marion Lodge #70 F&AM, Caledonia Odd Fellows, Marion Knights Templar, Public Employees Retirees, New Vision Senior Center, and the Green Camp Lions Club.

With a love for the outdoors, Frank enjoyed camping with his Masonic friends and traveling all over the U.S. Also, making time to hunt with his sons in the winter was a major priority. Christmas was always a joy for him having all of his family in his home and watching the excitement of all opening gifts. Having all of his family around him meant so much to him.

Frank will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Mary; his daughters: Terry Tarvin of LaRue, Loretta (David) Kroupa of Houston, Texas, Victoria (John) Johnson of Green Camp; his sons: Richard (Barbara Jean) Daily of Larue, Michael (Cheryl) Daily of Green Camp, and John (Teresa) Daily of LaRue; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; his brothers: William (Cindy) Daily of Sellersburg, Indiana, John David (Cindy) Daily of Corydon, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special friends: Carl and Katherine Robinson, Abe and Lois Shuler, and Jean Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Marts.

The Daily family will greet friends from 4 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 E. Center St., Marion, with a Masonic service taking place at 8 p.m. Services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Lippert officiating. Burial will follow at LaRue Cemetery with military honors being provided by the Marion County United Veterans Council. Luncheon to follow at the Johnson/Rudd Community Center in New Bloomington.

Richard A. Williams, Sr., 80, of Upper Sandusky, OH, died at 12:10 am, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

He was born February 7, 1930 in Lakeview, OH, to the late Harry and Modest (Brown) Williams.

On March 27, 1954, he married Charlene Austin in Liberty, IN. She survives in Upper Sandusky.

Also surviving are 5 children, Gary L. (Tracy) Williams, West Chester, Richard A. (Norma) Williams II, Kevin E. Williams both of Upper Sandusky, Julie A. (Steve) Piatt, Nevada, and Darin S. Willliams, Upper Sandusky, 17 grandchildren, Aaron, Lisa, Bryan, David, Sean, Ian, Heather, Joshua, Christopher, Cheyenne, Jennifer, Sarah, Grace, Shawn, Amanda, Darin, and Justin, 12 great grandchildren, and a sister, Shirley Gibson, Upper Sandusky.

Preceding him in death were six brothers and sisters, Gloria Althouser, Robert Williams, Lillian Mapes, Florence Payne, Ivan Williams, and Jean Swartz.

Richard was a member of the first EMT class to serve the Wyandot County EMS and retired from Stofcheck Ambulance Service in Marion. He had also worked as a corrections officer at Marion Correctional Institute, an engineer technician for the Ohio State Department of Transportation, and a watchmaker for the former Oats Jewelry in Upper Sandusky.

He was a 1949 graduate of Indian Lake High School.

A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he served two separate tours earning a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, AMVETS 777, American Legion 225, and VFW 2842, Warpole Lodge 176 F & AM all in Upper Sandusky. He served as Commander of the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard for many years.

In retirement, his labor of love became raising roses. He also enjoyed collecting lighthouses, going to Indian Lake and building various types of models.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Friday, April 2, 2010 and 1 hour prior to service time on April 3, 2010 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky. A Masonic Service will be held 7:30 pm Friday, April 2 at the funeral home.

The funeral Service will be held at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:00 am with, Rev. Jarrod Schaaf officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard.

MARION: Charles L. "Barney" Bernhard, age 73, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at his residence.

He was born October 5, 1936 in Flint, MI., to the late Susman and Blanch (Goodman) Bernhard.

Charles was first married to Elizabeth (TerBush) in 1957, he then was married to Annice K. (Apthorp) in 1989, they have been together since 1968, Annice passed away in 1999.

He was employed at Tecumseh for 19 years until it closed, then was a Correction Officer at M.C.I. for 16 years until he retired in 2002.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth V. Fast of Phoenix, AZ., Dorothea A. "Dottie" (Edward F.) Aitken Sr. of Brighton, MO; a son, Stephen J. (Fiance Terry Laau) Laster Sr. of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchidren, Dawn M. Lester, Stephen J. Lester Jr., Joseph C. Aitken, Mary E. Crossland, Dorothea A. "Dot" Aitken, Ryan A. Wilcox, Victoria L. Aitken; nine great grandchildren, Dominque Lester, McKinsey Delaney, Lucas Hedges, Mason Lester, Kaden Lester, Ethan Ford, Lance Crossland, Edward Aitken III, and Annika Redus-Aitken.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Adophl, Harold, Leonard, Marvin Sr., and Norman.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 15, 2010 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2010, 1 p.m. at the Marion Cemetery with Rev. Hugh Daley officiating. The M.C.I. Honor Guards will stand guard over the casket at the visitation and participate as pallbearers for the graveside service.

EDGEWATER, FL: Lawrence E. "Larry" Clark, age 84, of Edgewater, FL, formerly of Marion, Ohio died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 9:30 p.m. in the Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Larry was born on April 16, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles and Nannie Clark. He married his beloved wife, Donna Spears on October 16, 1948 in Marion, Ohio.

While living in Marion, Ohio, Larry and Donna belonged to the Moose Lodge. Larry was a veteran of WWII. He was employed at Marion Engineer Depot, United States Postal Service as a mail carrier in Marion, and MCI before retiring to Florida in 1986.

Larry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna; five sons, Mark and Christy Clark of Marion, Stevan Clark of Warren, MI, John Clark of Daytona Beach, FL, David and Annie Clark of Marion, Dana Clark of Edgewater, FL; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Clark; and two great granddaughters.

No services will be observed.
